Brazilian lawyer, graduated from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA), where he also completed his postgraduate studies in Civil Procedural Law under the guidance of the distinguished Professor J. J. Calmon de Passos.
In 1973, he founded the law firm Brandão e Tourinho Dantas Advogados Associados, a well-established practice with expertise across various areas of law. The firm is headquartered in Bahia, with branches in Brasília and São Paulo, providing legal counsel to clients from both the public and private sectors throughout Brazil.
Beyond his legal practice, he played a significant role in public life by serving as a Federal Deputy for the State of Bahia during the 49th Legislature, contributing to legislative projects and debates aimed at strengthening institutions and improving the justice system in Brazil.
